GCERF Annual Report 2024

The GCERF Annual Report 2024 highlights the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund’s efforts to prevent violent extremism and terrorism in some of the world’s most fragile contexts. The report showcases expanded support to frontline civil society organizations, adaptations to shifting security dynamics, and strengthened reintegration efforts for former terrorist fighters and their families, covering impact across 20+ countries, community-led solutions restoring hope, and transparent financials.

For the publication, we developed a bold editorial identity built around a mosaic-inspired visual language. The cover illustration brings together diverse people, roles, and communities into a unified composition, reflecting GCERF’s whole-of-society approach to preventing violent extremism. This concept was extended across the report, informing chapter openers, interior illustrations, and a custom icon set, creating a flexible visual system designed to be adapted for future communications and provide GCERF with a distinctive, cohesive identity.
